The Team
FC Congo is the first AZ Congo Team. It was founded in 2016 by Alenga. The team members are from Congo, so they are Congolese. They are refugees who grew up in refuge camp in Tanzania and settles in Arizona. They speak different languanges such French, Kiswahili and Lingala, but most of them are also speaking English.
Our goal is to create complete players with love for the game and a greater chance for future success.
Our mission is to positively impact the development of youth in our community by providing soccer and life- enriching opportunities to young players of all ages.
They are not only players, but they have other things they work on it. The major of FC Congo are students. they attend different colleges and others are working for living too. Playing in this team is not only helping to reach their goal, but it helps them to work together and have opportunity to connect more people.
